Summer 2018 Classes & Camps

Please join us for our Summer 2018 classes and camps. We offer a variety of styles and levels. Please click the box below to register, view the schedule, and enroll. Any questions please email Lauren.

Our summer class session runs from June 18th-August 18th. We are closed June 30th-July 6th

Fee Waive Date: 5/5 *You must pay at least the first tuition installment to waive the registration fee!

Summer Scholarships Due: 5/5 *We are accepting Summer scholarships now!

Last day to Register: 7/1 *We do not pro-rate tuition. Dancers may make up classes in any class of the same level.

Our summer youth classes are for ages 18 mos-12yrs old. Please click the box above to register, enroll, and view the schedule. Hover over the classes in the schedule to view details.

30 min: $52
45 min: $78
60 min: $105
75 min: $130
90 min: $156
120 min: $210

We offer a monthly installment plan. (Due June 1st and July 1st). Please contact admin@danceproject.org for rates.

Teen and Adult Drop in Classes for ages 13+! To register/view the schedule please click the box above. Please register and then enroll in the "Adult Drop In Registration" class. Once you are enrolled you may drop into any classes listed 13+ and you may pay cash, check, or card to the teacher upon arrival at the studio.

1.25/1.5 hr class: $14

Students spend part of the day in drama tackling acting, part of the day learning dances, and part of the day working on sets and costumes to create an entire musical in one week. There will be a performance at the end of the camp for family and friends. *These camps are a collaboration with the Drama Center, Center for Visual Artists, and Dance Project.

$250, Stephen Hyers Theater

Students spend part of the day in drama tackling acting, part of the day learning dances, and part of the day working on sets and costumes to create an entire musical in one week. June 25th- 29nd, 9am-5pm

Dance! Drama! Music! Art! Participants will attend workshops each day that will focus on each art form. Campers will learn about performing and visual arts from professional artists, and will participate in performances, showcases, and sharing. *Arts Ignite is a collaboration of Art Alliance of Greensboro, Dance Project, The Drama Center and The Music Center.

July 9-13, Grades 6-10
9am-5pm, $250 week

Dancers will explore popular storybooks like "The Runaway Bunny" to "Harold and the Purple Crayon" and more through the expression of dance! Dancers will be introduced to the foundations of dance and have fun! At the end of the week , dancers will share what they've learned in a presentation for friends and family.

July 16th-20th, Ages 3-5
Teacher: Dylan Reddish
$125, 9am-12pm, Studio 323

Dancers will learn about Rebel girls in history from Misty Copeland to Elizabeth I through the expression of dance. Dancers will learn an array of dance styles that will help instill the foundations of dance while having fun! At the end of the week, dancers will share what they've learned in a presentation for friends and family.

July 16th-20th, Ages 7-10
Teacher: Alex Warren
$125, 1-4pm, Studio 323

Dancers will explore different countries and cultures through the expression of dance! While they are traveling all over the world through dance they will be introduced to the foundations of dance and have a blast! At the end of the week, dancers will share what they've learned in a presentation for friends and family.

July 23rd-27th, Ages 3-5
