SUMMARY:Master Class Series
DESCRIPTION:Explore new ways of moving through a three-class series led by NC Dance Festival artists\, with each session offering a fresh technique\, perspective\, and creative experience. This class will be from 1:30PM – 3:00PM and taught by Kate Jewett. \nDrawing from Kate’s own movement style—developed through years of dancing\, creating\, and teaching\, and influenced by her experiences with Merce Cunningham and Shen Wei Dance Arts—this class explores the contrast between clear\, expansive lines and circular\, flowing movement. \nInt/Adv dancers ages 13+ will be invited to move and express themselves fully\, experiment with new movement qualities\, and bring their own unique energy and intention to the class.
