Be a part of our Wheels Ballet!
Dance is everywhere! Dance Project is calling wheels of all kinds – bikes, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, wheelchairs, wagons, strollers, you name it – to be part of our Dance Marathon! We’ll use the pathways and other elements in Woven Works park and the adjacent Downtown Greenway to create and film a dance on wheels; the finished dance film will be shown during our Dance Marathon finale on May 7.
All ages and abilities are welcome, as long as you or a helper can control your speed and motion on your wheels! Wear the appropriate protective gear for your wheels and brightly colored clothes and accessories. Feel free to mix and match your colors for a wild rainbow effect!
Filming date: Sunday, April 3, afternoon (time TBA).
Filming location: Woven Works Park (E Lindsay St & N Murrow Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27401; Park on Cumberland St or ride over on the Greenway)
Time commitment: Approx 1-1.5 hours
