Find our full Spring & Summer class schedules, for all ages, below. Youth and teens (13-18) register for a class for the full semester. Adults (18+) may drop into any class listed as 13+ or 18+. During our Summer semester, Teens may also drop into any class labeled 13+.

Spring registration is now closed for youth students. Adults may drop in through mid-May. Multi-class passes are also available for adult students.

*fee due only if participating in Spring Showcase, please notify the office if your youth student will not be  participating before 3/1.

 

Payment Schedule & Information:

  • We accept Cash, Check, or Credit Card payments
    • Credit card payments are made in the class portal and incur a 3% surcharge
  • Any payments made after the 10th will incur a $10 late fee
  • Any student with an account unpaid by the 20th will be unable to participate
  • Initial class payments are due by the first class on 1/9
    • Current Fall 22’ students who register for Spring 23’ will see the first installment post on Dec. 15th after the Fall 22’ Dec 1st final autodraft. Payment can be made manually from 12.15-1.9 to waive the returning reg. fee.
  • Spring classes can be paid in full or in 5 installments
    • Installment schedule: 1/9, 2/1, 3/1, 4/3, 5/1 
  • Autopay will run on 1/9, 2/1, 3/1, 4/3, 5/1 
    • Autopay participants who register after a draft date will need to manually pay before the 10th of the month to avoid a late fee
  • We do not pro-rate tuition. Students do have the option to make up a class in a comparable class. If you need to make up a class please contact Magalli magalli@danceproject.org 
  • Parents are fiscally responsible for the cost of the full semester after 3 classes have been attended, regardless of attendance from that point on

In studio

45 min: $50 | 1 hr: $60 |  2 hr: $110 | 1 hr semi-private: $80

Virtual

30 min: $25 | 1 hr: $40 | 2 hr: $80 | 30 min semi-private: $40 | 1 hr semi-private: $70 

Students who take in-person private lessons are charged a one-time cleaning fee of $5 regardless of the number of private lessons. Fees are used to cover the cost of cleaning supplies50

Our office and studios are located on the 3rd floor. Elevators are available.

Refund Policy

  • Once a student has begun classes, if you or your child find that the class is not right for you, you will have two weeks to withdraw.

  • Refunds will not be made after this time period unless extenuating circumstances apply. Cleaning fees and registration fees are non-refundable.

  • These decisions are at the discretion of the School administration. If you need to withdraw from the program during the semester please contact Vania as soon as possible.

  • Unless there are extenuating circumstances, you will still be responsible for the full balance of the semester, regardless of the withdrawal date.

Covid Safety

Our Covid protocols include, but are not limited to: dancers must self-report any current infection, or possible exposure, and stay home if they are feeling sick; we maintain space between dancers in our studios; masks must be worn inside the studios regardless of vaccination status; studios and equipment are disinfected regularly including high contact areas like door handles. Our Covid protocols are subject to change and the guide doc will be updated as needed. 

HOW CLASSES WORK

Our schedule allows us to offer in-person studio classes which can also be attended virtually over Zoom if preferred. Contact magalli@danceproject.org if you would like your child to take classes virtually (please allow 48 hours for a response). 

Youth Classes

Youth students aged 17 and under must be registered for the full semester. Youth registration will default to in-person.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are offered in person and virtually. Private lessons are open to all ages. Please contact Magalli@danceproject.org for scheduling and more details.

  • You will need a free Zoom account to access the virtual classes. (The 40 min limit for free accounts does not apply, since Dance Project is “hosting” these classes.) Sign up here: https://zoom.us/
  • A few minutes before class, click the link you received via email with the Zoom meeting link for your class.
  • Please note: Zoom classes will be locked 5 minutes after the scheduled start time for privacy purposes.
  • Make sure your device is set up in a way that your body is as visible as possible, so your teacher can make corrections as necessary. 
  • Once you’ve joined the meeting, check to make sure your video is turned on. Once you’ve greeted your teacher and class begins, please mute your microphone (lower left corner) so that any background noise on your end doesn’t interfere with class. 
  • You may need to adjust some of the audio settings, especially if you are taking a tap class. 
    • Click the arrow next to the microphone icon and select “Audio Settings”
    • UNSELECT “automatically adjust microphone settings”
    • Open “Advanced” settings and DISABLE both “suppress background noise” and “suppress intermittent background noise.”
  • If you have questions for the teacher during class, unmute your microphone so they can hear you. Please use our best class etiquette in this instance. Click raise your hand and lower hand-feedback assistant will unmute. 
  • At the end of class, you’ll click “Leave Meeting” in the lower right corner of the screen.
  • Make sure that you have some space to move safely. 
  • If you are taking ballet try to find a chair, wall, or window sill to work as a ballet barre. 
  • Don’t forget to wear your dance clothes and appropriate footwear. 
  • If you are taking tap try to find a hard surface to hear your sounds but make sure that it is not too slippery.
  • Your teachers will help to guide you as well as you go along. 

 

ORDER A BALLET BARRE OR TAP BOARD THROUGH DANCE PROJECT:

  • Add to your or your student’s at-home dance experience!
  • Ballet barres are sturdy and easily stored way to get a full class experience. Barres is $40
  • Tap boards are a great way to help protect your floors and get a full sound. Boards are $25
 

Dance Project offers Virtual and In-person Birthday Parties: 

$45 for 30 minute class via Zoom.

In Studio Birthday Party Rates: 

$150 for 2 hours

In-Person birthdays will have limited spaces and will follow our Covid Protocols
