We offer Summer camps for youth, classes for all ages, and special workshop opportunities for teens and adults. Summer Camp registration opens February 5th, and Summer Class registration opens April 2nd.

SUMMER CAMPS & Intensives
Pack your summer with even more dance! Our summer camps for ages 3-7 are a perfect way to discover new ways of dancing and moving through themed activities and sampling multiple styles! Students 8-18 can develop their dance technique and explore new styles and trends in the dance world through our technique clinics!

June 23-27, Ages 5-7
Full Day: 9am-5pm
Half Day Morning: 9am-12:30pm
Join us for our Dancing Thru the Galleries Camp. Go on an artistic adventure with us as we discover the love of dance through the use of artwork as inspiration. Dancers will get the unique opportunity to visit art galleries in the Greensboro Cultural Center such as: GreenHill Gallery & ArtQuest, African American Atelier, Center for Visual Artists, Guilford Native American Gallery, and GROW. Dancers will create movement and even their own artwork inspired by what they see. This camp is perfect for dancers interested in dance and visual art!
Half Day: $155

July 21-25, Ages 5-7
Full Day: 9am-5pm
Half Day Morning: 9am-12:30pm
Join us for our Dance Sampler Camp. This is a chance for young dancers to explore many different dance styles in one week! This camp’s level is beginner/intermediate and may incorporate Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Modern dance! Dance shoes highly recommended.
Half Day: $155
Full Day: $285

July 28 – August 1st, Ages 3-5
Half Day Morning: 9am-12:30pm
Join us for our Dancing a Story Camp. Your child can discover a love for dance and movement through some of their favorite stories! This creative movement camp will incorporate storytime with books, props, and lots of dance games for a week of fun!
Half Day: $155

Ages 8-12
July 14-18
Time: 1-4:30pm
Join us for our Junior Technique Clinic.
Dancers will explore various dance styles and work to further develop their dance technique. Their technical work will be enriched by studies in choreographic process, as well as current and historical choreographic work. Great for dancers looking for a chance to grow over the summer! Open to ALL levels but previous dance experience is highly suggested. Expect clinic to be fast-paced and growth-oriented.
Fee: $175

Ages 12-18
Aug 11-15
Time: 11:30am-3:30pm
Join us for our Teen Technique Clinic.
Dancers will explore various dance styles and work to further develop their dance technique. Their technical work will be enriched by studies in choreographic process, as well as current and historical choreographic work. Great for dancers looking for a chance to grow over the summer! Open to ALL levels but previous dance experience is highly suggested. Expect clinic to be fast-paced and growth-oriented.
Fee: $200

Ages 13+
Dates: Aug 17+18,
Time: TBD (typically full days)
Join us for a full weekend of classes designed for professional dancers and pre-professional dancers alike! Each day will consist of technique classes, Q&A sessions, audition prep, and more. Featuring special guest artists as instructors. This intensive is aimed at Intermediate to Advanced dancers.

During the Summer, dancers 18 month to 12 years old must register for full semester, but ages 13+ can drop into any class for their appropriate skill level!
Scholarships
Dance Project offers need-based scholarships to families, to ensure that our community has access to high-quality dance education! Summer Scholarships open April 2nd.

Tuition & Rates
Summer Camp Rate:
$155/week for half day camps
$285/week for full day camps
$175 for Junior Technique Clinic
$200 for Teen Technique Clinic
*All camp and workshop fees must be paid in full by 4pm the Wednesday before the camp starts!
Youth scholarship applications will open for summer on April 2nd. Apply here.
Students in camps for ages 3-7 should wear comfortable clothing that they can move in. Students in the Dance Sampler Camp may bring dance shoes if they wish, but this is not required.

Our office and studios are located on the 3rd floor. Elevators are available.
Refund Policy Camps:
- Refunds will not be made unless extenuating circumstances apply.
- We do not pro-rate camp tuition if your child misses a day or more of camp.
These decisions are at the discretion of the School administration. If you need to withdraw from the program during the semester please contact Magalli as soon as possible.
Refund Policy Classes:
Once a student has begun classes, if you or your child find that the class is not right for you, you will have two weeks to withdraw.
Refunds will not be made after this time period unless extenuating circumstances apply. Registration fees are non-refundable.
These decisions are at the discretion of the School administration. If you need to withdraw from the program during the semester please contact Magalli as soon as possible.
Unless there are extenuating circumstances, you will still be responsible for the full balance of the semester, regardless of the withdrawal date.
HOW CLASSES WORK
Youth Classes
Youth students aged 12 and under must be registered for the full semester. Youth registration will default to in-person.
Teens (and adults) can drop in to any classes for ages 13+ at any time during the summer semester.s.

Dance Project offers Birthday Parties:
In Studio Birthday Party Rate:
$150 for 2 hours
Join Dance Project for all of your birthday fun! Pick a theme and have a 45 minute dance class designed for your dancer along with a customized craft that we provide. The two hour time frame includes setup and breakdown. Your instructor will be available for a 45 minute class and 30 minute craft. Dance Project does not provide food or decor.

All dancers, youth & adults will be expected to follow our studio Health Protocols. Masking is optional for all students and staff. We are counting on our community to self-report any current infection, or possible exposure, and to stay home if they are feeling sick. Our guidelines have been a consistent way to make sure we can keep dancing while keeping our community safe. Please reach out if you have any questions
