Join us for our 2025 Spring Showcase. The Spring Showcase is our formal showing where students ages 3-18+ perform the choreography they have been learning this semester. We can’t wait for you to see your dancers up on stage!

Tickets are sold IN ADVANCE via DanceStudio-Pro. Please be sure to purchase your tickets ASAP.

Tickets are limited to 8 tickets per dancer/show. Dance Project asks that families please be respectful of this so that all families may enjoy the show, if you are in need of more than 8 tickets, please reach out. If you are not using all 8 tickets, let us know!

*Exception for Performance Co. Showcase- no ticket limit!*

Tickets must be purchased for any guest ages 2+, guests under 2 may sit in laps/carriers.

  • 5/12-5/25: 2 weeks til Showcase, mandatory attendance
  • 5/19-5/24: Last Week of Classes, in-class DR (FULL costumes only- no hair/makeup)
  • 5/26: Memorial Day, CLOSED
  • 5/27, 5/29-5/30: *Spring Showcase Dress Rehearsals*
  • 5/31-6/1: *Spring Showcase Performances*
  • 6/2: DP closed after Showcase

  • All families are asked to fill out a Ride Permission Form for their youth dancer, to ensure that anyone that may be picking your dancer up during the Spring Showcase weekend will have permission to do so. They will be required to show a photo ID.
  • If you do not list anyone we will list the person(s) on your registration form.
  • Thank you in advance for helping us keep your dancers safe! Please submit the following Google Form by 5.15

  • Check in on 1st floor of Greensboro Cultural Center- all youth dancers must check in/out with a parent present, including 13-18
  • Parent/Guardian will be asked to show ID upon pickup, ID must match name of adult listed on ride permission form submission
  • All dancers will remain backstage for the length of the show, dancers will be allowed to watch from the audience for dress rehearsals
  • No parents will be allowed backstage during the show or in the theater during dress rehearsals, exception made for parent volunteers. Sign up by May 3 here!
  • No child may leave early unless there is an emergency that has been communicated, we ask that all families stay for full show
  • All borrowed costume items will be left backstage
    *No food with nuts will be allowed backstage/in the theater for Dress Rehearsals and Spring Showcase- you will be alerted if there are any other allergy considerations backstage*
  • Dance Project merchandise and Spring Showcase keepsakes/gifts will be sold during the day-of each show
  • Make sure your dancer is set up for success, review our Stage Etiquette rules!

  • Costumes: Dance Project provides main costume pieces, although families may be asked to provide some costume items in line with their class dress code (ex: leotard, tights, dance shoes, etc)
  • Hair: Hair out of face (7 and under) “Ponytail/Bun” (8-12) for 13+ hairstyles may vary. 
  • Makeup: Light Stage Makeup (Ages 7 & under)- 1 or 2 makeup items, blush/eye makeup
  • Stage Makeup (Ages 8+)- full face makeup, eye makeup
