Class Placements
- Placements help parents register their students for the correct technique level in their age groups

Holiday Parade
- The Greensboro Holiday Parade is right around the corner on 12.3!
- When: Saturday, December 3rd,12-2pm (arrival time no later than 11am)
- Where: Downtown Greensboro, exact route TBA
- Who: All DP dancers and volunteers who have purchased the required DP black t-shirt, paid $10 parade fee, and attended 2 of 3 required rehearsals if ages 8+.
- What: The annual Greensboro Holiday Parade is The Parade welcomes the Holiday season via a one mile and a half path through downtown. All dancers age 8+ can learn the dance, and dancers 7 and under can walk with a parent or volunteer.
- Rehearsal: 11/13, 11/20, 11/27 4:30-5:30pm *Last Rehearsal Mandatory* Studio 323

- What to Wear/Bring:
- Black DP t-shirt with white letters (underlayers such as long sleeve/turtleneck if cold)
- Black Leggings or DP leggings or Black DP Joggers
- Water bottle labeled with dancer name
- Coats/jackets if needed, can place in back of vehicle and grab after the parade.
- Optional: winter wonderland accessories in colors white, blue, and silver (think snowflakes & frosted trees)
- Optional: clear poncho in case of rain
- *Masking will be optional for this event*
- Please be sure to pay your $10 parade fee (for both participating dancer and adult chaperone walking in parade if applicable) by 11.20.
- Make sure you have your black DP t-shirt for anyone participating in the parade by our last rehearsal 11.27. If you still need to purchase a t-shirt, you can order them here.

Important Youth Payment Information
- Fall classes can be paid in full or in 4 installments
- Installment schedule: 8/29, 10/1, 11/1, 12/1
- Autopay will run on 9/1, 10/3, 11/1, 12/1
- Late account communication:
- Late fees are added after the 10th of the month
- Notification of late payment will be sent on the 11th via email

- Any student with an account unpaid by the 20th will be unable to participate
*Card payments are made in the class portal and incur a 3% surcharge. This goes to the processing company and not to DP

What is Performance Company?
- Performance Companies are an opportunity for you/your dancer to learn and perform choreography in the community for the Fall 2022-Spring 2023 year, and participate in many other fun and exciting dance events and workshops! Dancers enroll in a weekly class which serves as their rehearsal time each week.
- Who can join?
- Mini Performance Company (5-7), Junior Performance Company (8-12), Teen Performance Company (13-18), and Adult Performance Company (18+) are open to all!
- No audition required. Dancers are required to be enrolled in at least 1 dance technique class in addition to any PC class.
- Rise Pre-Professional Company is audition/invitation only for advanced dancers and requires enrollment in at least 2 dance technique classes in addition to Rise PC.
- Mini Performance Company (5-7) and Adult Performance Company (18+) seeking additional dancers for Spring 2023 semester! All other Performance Companies will open back up in Fall 2023.
- Mini Performance Company (5-7), Junior Performance Company (8-12), Teen Performance Company (13-18), and Adult Performance Company (18+) are open to all!

- When: Friday, December 2, 6-7pm
- Arrival Time: ***5:45pm at the latest
- Performance Time: 6:15pm
- Show Order: Rise, MPC, JPC, TPC
- Where: Greensboro Cultural Center, Van Dyke Performance Space
- Who: MPC (mandatory), JPC (mandatory), TPC (mandatory), Rise (mandatory)
- What: MPC, JPC, TPC, and Rise perform in Van Dyke Performance Space as a part of the Greensboro Cultural Center Festival of Lights/First Friday event. Dance Project table present on 2nd floor atrium space.
- What to Bring/Wear:
- Water bottle
- Any costume items provided by dancer
- Solid neutral color face mask
- ***Good luck note/card for PC buddy to exchange before performance

- TPC Summer 2022 Guest Piece Rehearsals
- 11.13, 11.20, 11.27 3:30-4:30pm
- Last rehearsal 11.27, please bring black costume items for dress rehearsal!
- TPC Guest piece will be submitted to adjudication to be performed UNCSA Festival of NC Dance. If accepted, attendance at UNCSA Festival will be mandatory for 6 TPC summer guest piece dancers.
- UNCSA Festival of NC Dance
- February 24-26, 2023 at UNCSA in Winston-Salem
- Optional, highly encouraged for TPC and select JPC dancers.
- $200 fee to DP to participate, we will register as a group. Due December 1.
- TPC Guest Piece will be submitted for adjudication (potential to perform at UNCSA on these dates!)

- Weekend dance workshop
- Optional, highly encouraged for all JPC & TPC dancers.
- Registration is $290/dancer. DP will register as a group in Fall. Deadline to pay on class portal: past due!

Adult Performance Company
*Adult Performance Company is on pause for the Fall 2022 semester and will return for the Spring 2023 semester, beginning in January.*
- What is Adult Performance Company?
- Dance Project’s Adult Performance Company (18+) is an opportunity for adult dancers to learn, create, and perform choreography in the community, and participate in many other opportunities, such as attending dance events and workshops! Dancers enroll in a weekly class which serves as their rehearsal time and work with a choreographer for the year. Adult Performance Company is open to all! No audition is required. Dancers are required to take at least 1 weekly dance technique class in addition to APC rehearsal time, in any dance style.

Greensboro Cultural Center
- All Dance Project classes, office space, check-in areas, and events will require a mask. This includes students, staff, parents, and audience members..
- Thank you so much for your support in helping keep your Dance Project family and our community safe. We will continue to monitor the community trends and keep you updated as to if/when our class requirements may change.

Parking
- During Tanger Center events, the Church Street parking deck will be shared.
- Anyone displaying the attached voucher in either print or digital form will be exempted from the posted fee. This voucher is valid only at the Church Street Parking Deck after 5 pm Monday-Friday, and anytime on the weekend. Voucher Here
- Visitors who do not have the voucher, but who indicate to the attendant upon entry that their visit is for something other than attendance at a Tanger Center event, will have the $10.00 fee waived.
- These waivers apply only to the $10.00 Special Event fee being implemented before Tanger Center events
